Acting both in the UK and mainland Europe, we undertake tasks eg site assessment for new golf courses, golf hotels and golf resort projects. These assignments often include an assessment of the location in question and its suitability for the proposed project including supply and demand levels, a planning overview, an indication as to likely future trading levels of the completed scheme, and often comments on possible future values based on industry norms, our knowledge of similar operations and current market evidence at the time.

A recent study we completed involved detailed research into the global golf tourism industry, including total golfing trips made per country, the number of visits to specific countries and how to increase market share. In addition, the initial viability of the scheme was considered ie whether the golf and hotel elements alone were viable or whether enabling development would be required and, if so, what mix of accommodation would be preferable and achievable bearing in mind planning policies, location, demand, etc.

We also do regular work with the larger surveying organisations where golf might be one element of a large resort project but where the larger firm does not have the specialist knowledge of the golf industry that we do.
Lastly we provide marketing advice and likely guide prices for properties wh'os owners may be thinking of disposing of their interest.
